The Marwood Community Hall Project is a joint venture, between the Marwood Community Hall Charity and Marwood School, to build a hall on the school site for use by both the local community and the school. Thanks to the Fullabrook Wind Farm Community Interest Company agreeing to match Community funds up to £200,000, building a new hall, on school land being leased from Devon County Council, became possible. Work started at the end of July 2014 and the estimated date for completing construction is 30th April 2015.
An Opening Event, to which all members of the Marwood Community will be invited, is planned for the afternoon of Saturday 13th June 2015.
